An amended application for a proposed solar project in Wabash County is now under review.
Wabash County Commissioners Chairman Tim Hocking provided an update during Monday afternoon’s County Commissioners meeting, announcing the county has received an amended solar application from RWE.
Hocking said the application has been forwarded to Bellwether for review and that the process is moving forward.
The county has also received the required payment associated with the application.
Copies of the amended application, along with maps of the proposed project, are available for public review downstairs at the Wabash County Courthouse.
Commissioners did not take any action on the application Monday, other than acknowledging that it had been received.
Hocking said the review process is now underway and the project is progressing.
