On March 25, 2025, at 12:36 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a 911 report of a woman flagging down motorists on County Road 100 West near County Road County Road 350 South. The reporting party advised that when a motorists would stop the female would yell at and threaten the motorists. Gibson County Central Dispatch was able to get a detailed description of the female and law enforcement officers were sent to the area to locate the suspicious person. Deputies located the female who was identified as 35 year old Ruby Parker of Princeton at the intersection of County Road 100 West and County Road 300 South. While speaking with Ms. Parker Deputy Eric Powell observed mail in her possession that did not belong to her. At that point Deputy Powell with the assistance of multiple other officers began an investigation into the stolen mail. At the conclusion of their investigation Deputy Powell placed Ms. Parker into custody and transported her to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving Ms. Parker was charged with Intimidation, Theft, Public Intoxication, and Possession of a Legend Drug.
Assisting Deputy Powell in his investigation were Deputies Quinten Might and James Tucker.
