On 4/30/24, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Chester L. Ness II, age 57, of St. Francisville, on a Knox County, Indiana Warrant following a traffic stop at 5th & Walnut for a violation of the Illinois Vehicle Code. During the stop, the arresting officer discovered the extraditable warrant for Ness. Ness was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was issued the warrant and held pending transfer back to Knox County.
