On 9/25/23, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Emily J. Lofton, age 35, of Mt. Carmel on a Lawrence County Illinois Warrant for Failure to Appear. Lofton was stopped in the 600 block of N Walnut Street as the arresting officer knew Lofton had the above warrant. Lofton was placed under arrest and transported to the Wabash County Jail where she was served the warrant and held pending the posting of bond.
