On 5/23/23, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Joshua A. McClellan, age 28, currently of Mt. Carmel, for Violation of Orders of Protection following an incident at the Wabash General Hospital. Police were called to the scene by one of the protected parties who advised they had a valid order of protection against McClellan as did two other individuals that were present with them. After confirming the validity of the O.P., the arresting officer took McClellan into custody and transported him to the Wabash County Jail where he is being held pending a bond setting by a judge.
