Princeton man arrested on DUI charge

On May 23, 2023, at 9:55 p.m. Gibson County Deputy Logan Lashbrook conducted a traffic stop on a Dark Blue 2017 Dodge Caliber after failing to maintain its lane of traffic on State Road 64 near County Road 550 East.  Deputy Lashbrook stopped the vehicle on State Road 64 in the town of Francisco, and upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Lashbrook identified the driver as 29 Jorge Hernandez of Princeton.  At that point Deputy Lashbrook began a roadside DUI investigation. At the conclusion of his investigation Deputy Lashbrook transported Mr. Hernandez to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated/ Endangerment and Operator Never Licensed.  Mr. Hernandez was also issued citations for Driving Left of Center, Distracted Driving, and an Open Container Violation.  He has since posted a $650 bond.
 
Assisting Deputy Lashbrook in his investigation was Deputy Zach Lienemann. 
 
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
