On 5/01/23, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Tracy Curtis Wilson, age 34, for Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer after an officer attempted to stop Wilson for operating his gas-powered bike on a sidewalk and without a headlamp in the area of 6th & Poplar Street. Wilson refused to stop, however the officer followed Wilson to his residence in the 700 block of W 6th Street where he was placed under arrest. Wilson was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged with the above offense along with a citation for No Lamp on Bicycle.
