Deputies arrest Gibson County man for fleeing

On March 20, 2023, at 3:58 p.m. Deputy Quinten Might went to 8213 S 1050 West near Johnson, Indiana to attempt to serve a Felony Warrant on Cory G. Henson, DOB 5/16/1984.  Upon arriving Deputy Might with the assistance of Deputies Logan Lashbrook and Michael Owens knocked on his door and announced that they were with the Sheriff’s Office.  At that point Mr. Henson ran out of the residence and towards a wood line.  The deputies pursued Mr. Henson and after a short foot chase Mr. Henson was taken into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail.  Upon arriving at the Jail Mr. Henson was booked in on the outstanding probation violation warrant, and a new charge of Resisting Law Enforcement- Fleeing.  He remains in custody at this time. 
 
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
