Today’s sentencing hearing for 31 year old Jeffrey Isham was postponed until Valentine’s Day. Isham was to have been sentenced for his December conviction of a Class X felony of predatory criminal sexual assault. But defense attorney James Lane said this morning that the sex offender evaluation ordered for Isham had not been completed yet. In fact, Lane said he had attempted to contact the evaluator on multiple occasions but had been unsuccessful. Isham is now scheduled to be sentenced on February 14th and faces up to 30 years in prison for of sexually assaulting a family member in September of 2019 at his Keensburg home.
