On 5/25/21, Mt. Carmel Police arrested Louis M. Edlund, age 37, of Mt. Carmel, for Aggravated Battery following a dispute at a residence in the 500 block of Chestnut Street. Upon the officer’s arrival, they found evidence to indicate Edlund had battered a disabled male resident of the home. Edlund was placed under arrest and transported to the Wabash County Jail, where he was charged and held pending a bond setting by a judge.
