Princeton man arrested on battery charge

On May 1, 2021, at 12:14 a.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of a disturbance in the 400 block of West Glendale Street in Princeton, Indiana.  Upon arriving on scene Deputy Garrett Tuley with the assistance of the Princeton Police Department began an investigation into the incident.  During the incident Deputy Tuley spoke with both parties involved in the incident as well as potential witnesses.  At the conclusion of his investigation Deputy Tuley placed 38-year-old Andrew Miles of Princeton into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail.  Upon arriving at the jail Mr. Miles was charged with battery.  He has since posted a $1250 bond.
 
Assisting Deputy Tuley in his investigation was Sgt. John Fischer of the Sheriff’s Office as well as Princeton Sergeant Travis Lashbrook and Officer Chelsea Jones. 
 
All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
