Wabash General Hospital President/CEO Karissa Turner brought Wabash County Commissioners up to date this week on various ongoing projects. Turner said the ongoing construction projects continue on schedule including the new medical office building that is slated to be completed in March while work on the orthopedic and rehab building is set to be finished in April. Renovation of the cafeteria and dietary department should be done late next month. Turner said work has now started on the hospital’s main lobby which has caused the main entrance to be closed. Those visiting the hospital should enter through the E-R entrance.
Currently, Wabash General has 446 employees and Turner said it’s thanks to them all of the progress has been able to happen….
Also Monday’s county board meeting, Rob Coleman, William Easton, and Doug McPherson were reappointed to three year terms on the hospital’s board of directors.
