Kelli Storckman, Wabash County State's Attorney, reports that Gavin M. Roberts, a 38-year old West Salem, Illinois man, was sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections by the Honorable Circuit Judge William C. Hudson in Wabash County Circuit Court.
State's Attorney Storckman advises that the Defendant was charged December 9, 2020 with Residential Burglary, a Class 1 Felony. On September 27, 2021, Mr. Roberts was sentenced to 4 years in the Department of Corrections, to be followed by 1 year of mandatory supervised release (parole).
FACTS AND CIRCUMSTANCES OF OFFENSE:
That on the 22nd day of November, 2020, in Wabash County, Illinois, the Defendant committed the offense of RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY, in that he knowingly and without authority entered into the residence and dwelling of XXXXX, located at XXXX N. 2100 Blvd, Allendale, Wabash County, Illinois, with the intent to commit therein a felony, in violation of 720 ILCS 5/19-3(a). A CLASS 1 FELONY
