Tennessee man arrested for not having license

On January 11, 2021, at 6:36 p.m. Gibson County Deputy Brian Naas conducted a traffic stop on a Red 2016 Ford Fusion on US 41 near Patoka for speeding. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Naas identified the driver as 21-year-old David Martinez of Antioch, Tennessee. During a roadside investigation Deputy Naas ran Mr. Martinez through the National Crime Information Center and Indiana Data And Communications System and discovered that Mr. Martinez had never been issued a valid operators license. At that point Deputy Naas placed Mr. Martinez into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail where he was charged with Operating While Never Licensed. He has since posted a $500 bond.

All Criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
