On June 11, 2020, at 5:23 a.m. Gibson County Deputy Michael Rose conducted a traffic stop on a Red Toyota Avalon for speeding on County Road 250 South near Old US HWY 41. Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Rose identified the driver as 40-year-old Angela Lane of Princeton. During a roadside investigation Deputy Rose ran Ms. Lane through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and determined that Ms. Lane was driving her vehicle while her license was suspended on a prior driving while suspended conviction. At that point Deputy Rose placed Ms. Lane into custody and ultimately transported her to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Ms. Lane was charged with Driving While Suspended Prior. She has since posted a $650 bond.
