Susan Hudson Zimmerman was selected as the 2019 Adjunct Instructor of the Year. As WVC’s Adjunct Instructor of the Year, Zimmerman received a complimentary ticket to the WVC Foundation’s Crystal Ball. Zimmerman has been an adjunct instructor at Wabash Valley College since 2002. She holds an Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees from Wabash Valley College, a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and a Master of Arts degree in Education from Western Kentucky University. Zimmerman teaches composition and communications courses for the college.
WVC Foundation Director Toni Brines, alongside WVC President Matt Fowler, presented Zimmerman with her ticket to the Crystal Ball. The Wabash Valley College Foundation will host its annual Crystal Ball on Saturday, Feb. 15, in the Mabel A. Courter Youth Center, Anderson Building. This event has become “the social event of the year” in the community and promises to be an elegant evening of exquisite dining, and entertainment by comedian/magician, Mike Bliss. Social Hour will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m. and an evening of entertainment from 8:00 – 10:00 p.m.
For those who are interested in attending, tickets are $125 per couple, and single tickets are also available. Tickets are available for purchase in the Administration/Foundation building on the WVC campus or by calling Katie Hinderliter at 618-263-5537. In order to allow time for seating arrangements, it is requested that tickets be purchased by Monday, Feb. 10.
