It looks like a change is coming to the days brush is picked up by city crews in Mt. Carmel. At Monday night’s City Council meeting, Art Kimmel, who has taken over for the retired Bob Mayhue on the brush pickup crew, suggested changing the route to Monday and Tuesday and if needed, part of Wednesday. Currently, the brush pick up route runs throughout the week on the same day residents’ trash is picked up. Kimmel said the change would save the city time and money.
Kimmel also proposed another change in eliminating running the brush truck and chipper through city alleys…
The City Council appeared to agree with Kimmel’s proposal and Mayor Joe Judge asked that he put a map together showing which days and what areas the brush route will be run. Judge said the council will act on the proposal at their next meeting.
