The 2020 election cycle in Illinois has begun. Wabash County Clerk Janet Will has announced that petition packets are now available for anyone wanting to run for local office next year. Tuesday was the first day candidates could circulate petitions for the March 17th primary election. The filing period is November 25th through December 2nd. Local offices on the ballot in 2020 will be Circuit Clerk, Coroner, County Commissioner and State's Attorney. The 2020 General Election is November 3rd.
