On September 20, 2019, at 5:15 p.m. Gibson County Central Dispatch received a report of a possible impaired driver on US 41 near County Road 350 South. Deputy Zach Lienemann conducted a traffic stop on the suspect vehicle, a light Blue 2017 Hyundai Upon approaching the vehicle Deputy Lienemann detected the odor of burnt Marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. At that point he began a roadside drug investigation. At the conclusion of his investigation he placed 35 year old Kenard Pulliam of Gary Indiana into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Pulliam was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated. He remains in custody on a $550 bond.
