The Mt Carmel Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution held first meeting on
September 17, 2019, CONSTITUTION DAY. Mt Carmel Mayor Joseph Judge signed PROCLAMATION
Constitution Week 2019 through 23, 2019.
Roll call did you ring bell for Constitution Week today at 3:00-3:15 if not we have a bell for you to ring.
Chapter Regent Barbara Lant Easter and Robin Adams Dean, Constitution Week Chairman on
Monday September 16, presented CONSTITUTION BINGO held in the 8th grade History Class of
Yevette Henager Mt Carmel Junior High Students. On Tuesday, September 17, 2019,
Mt Carmel DAR member Susan Wood, Rachel Wood Galatas, and Windy Wood read to the
five class of 2nd grade students Mt Carmel Intermediate Center of Education. The student were give
copies of the PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION a small AMERICAN FLAG.
New members Karla Pflaum Hocking and Rachel Wood Galatas took oath of membership
given by Sara Steckler Caddell, Chaplain. Mary Susan Wood received Honor Award
