On 8/04/19 Mt. Carmel Police arrested Matthew T. Jones, age 30, of Evansville, IN, for Retail Theft following a complaint from Jumpin’ Jimmies for a theft of gasoline allegation. Officers were able to locate Jones driving a blue BMW in the 500 block of West 3rd Street. Jones was stopped and taken into custody. Jones was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged and held pending the posting of bond.
