On 8/04/19 Mt. Carmel Police arrested Charles L. Shoemaker, age 24, of Mt. Carmel, for Domestic Battery following a domestic dispute at a residence in the 500 block of N Division Street. When officers arrived they found evidence to indicate Shoemaker had battered his girlfriend during the argument. Shoemaker was placed under arrest and transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged and held pending the posting of bond.
