TOPICS IN ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY: PNEUMATICS NIGHT CLASS AT WVC

Wabash Valley College is pleased to announce the continuation of a collaborative project with the Mt. Carmel Area Economic Alliance to improve employability and manufacturing skills of local residents. Night classes will be held on Thursday nights from 6 – 8:50 p.m. at the Advanced Technology Center at 214 West Third Street, Mt. Carmel, IL. Students will learn techniques and skills in various Advanced Manufacturing topics to improve their employability, productivity and ability to advance in their current positions. Instructor Joe Judge is a subject-matter expert, with over 25 years of real-world experience in the field of Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, and Pneumatics. Courses are typically only each Thursday evening for five weeks.

August 1 – August 29: Topics in Engineering Technology: Pneumatics

Topics in Engineering Technology: Pneumatics focuses on power systems using compressed air as a working medium for power transmission. Pneumatics is similar to hydraulic power systems, using air to convert mechanical energy into pressure energy of the compressed air.

Pre-registration or on-site is required. The cost of the 15-hour course is $52 for In-District students, while the cost for enrollees over 60 years old is $32.
