Effingham, IL – On June 25, 2019, the Lawrenceville Police Department requested the assistance of the Illinois State Police Zone 7 regarding a Death Investigation. A female, identified as, Paige Aten, (F/21), was located deceased inside her apartment in Lawrenceville, IL. The cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy. Agencies involved include the Lawrenceville Police Department and Lawrence County Coroner’s Office. The investigation is open and ongoing and will be conducted by the Illinois State Police.
