On 3/21/19 Mt. Carmel Police arrested Jeremiah J. Deal, age 43, of Newburgh, IN for Possession of a Hypodermic Needle and Disorderly Conduct following a call regarding an unwanted person in the 1100 block of West 3rd Street. Once police arrived they spoke to the complainant who reported that Deal had entered their residence and attempted to start an altercation with the complainant. Officers located the suspect, identified as Deal, and placed him under arrest. During the arrest for Disorderly Conduct Officers located a hypodermic needle in Deal’s property. Deal was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged and held pending the posting of bond.
