Around 500 area high school students are in Mt. Carmel this afternoon for the 6th annual Healthcare Expo and Cadaver Surgery at Wabash Valley College. Dr. Julko Fullop, Dr. Justin Miller, and staff from Wabash General Hospital are performing an anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery in the Brubeck Auditorium. The main purpose of this procedure is not only to allow students to see a surgery performed live, but to let them have the opportunity to be exposed to many career opportunities in the health care profession.
