All four schools in Wabash District #348 are listed at the commendable level according to the latest information contained in the Illinois School Report Card. At the recent school board meeting, each of the school’s principals laid touched on highlights of the report. Junior High/High School Principal Jake Newkirk said the junior high is down 35 students this year as the 7th grade class is especially small with 90 students. Meanwhile at the high school, enrollment stands at 520, up 35 students from last year. The 4-year graduation rate is 81%, up from the 76% statewide average. 221 students at the high school currently take class that generate college credits.
