The Wabash County Board has appointed Brenda Bobbitt to replace Rod Rodriguez on the Hotel-Motel Board and the Southern Illinois Tourism Board. Bobbitt, the brainchild of the wildly successful Christmas Uptown, will serve out the term held by Rodriguez, who resigned. In another move, the county board reinstated Ralph Raber as Drainage District #7 Commissioner, until they can find his replacement. Raber had already resigned the post, but a replacement has not been found.
