On the heels of last week’s announcement of a $14.5 million project to build a new medical office building, the Wabash General Hospital board of directors has approved a plan to renovate the hospital’s lobby area. At Tuesday night’s meeting, the board approved the $95,000 project which CEO Karissa Turner says will add a personal touch for hospital visitors…
According to Turner, the lobby area hasn’t been renovated in more than 20 years. As for manning the welcome desk, it’s hoped members of the WGH auxiliary will volunteer and if not, volunteers from the community would be sought.
