After 33 years on the job, Wabash County Supervisor of Assessment Debbie Gittings is stepping down. Gittings announced her retirement at Monday’s meeting of the Wabash County Board of Commissioners. She said the time was right:
Gittings’ retirement takes effect on December 31st. She told the board that Connie Larry, who has worked in the assessor’s office for six years, is very close to earning her C-I-A-O designation, which would then be followed by a state exam.
Each commissioner thanked Gittings for her many years of service to Wabash County.
