On 09.27.19 at approximately 2301 hrs. Wabash County Sheriff's Deputies stopped a west bound vehicle on Highway 15 for traveling 65 mph in a 55 mph zone. Upon making contact with the driver, Dalton W. Feldman, 24 of West Salem, it was found the registration to the vehicle was expired as well. K-9 Roy was deployed for a free air narcotics sniff and gave an alert to the the vehicle Feldman was driving. A subsequent search revealed a plastic bag with a crystalline substance, which was suspected as crystal methamphetamine. The substance later field tested positive for methamphetamine. Feldman was taken to the Wabash County Jail where he remains on a $4,000 cash bond for having possession of 12.9 grams of methamphetamine.
