On 10/23/19 Mt. Carmel Police arrested Richard L. Reed, age 27, of Mt. Carmel, for Driving While License Suspended and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 300 block of West 9th Street. Reed was placed under arrest for the driving infraction when officers discovered a suspected methamphetamine pipe in the vehicle. Reed was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was charged and held pending the posting of bond. Later on 10/23/19, Ashton T. Reed, age 25, of Mt. Carmel, arrived at the jail to post Richard’s bond. Ashton was then taken into custody on a Wabash County Failure to Appear Warrant as well. Ashton was also held pending bond.
