On 4/26/18 Mt. Carmel Police arrested a 15 year old male juvenile following a complaint about unwanted people in an abandoned residence in the 100 block of Chestnut Street. Officers arrived and located two male juveniles near the residence. While officers were speaking to the two juveniles the officer observed suspected cannabis in a clear bag hanging out of a pocket of one of the juveniles. The officer eventually found the juvenile to have six bags of cannabis along with drug paraphernalia. The juvenile was placed under arrest for Manufacture/Delivery of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The juvenile was charged and released to a parent.
