Posey County – Last night at approximately 8:30, Trooper Zackary Fulton stopped the driver of a 2007 Pontiac on South Street near Brewery Street in New Harmony for failing to use a turn signal when required. The driver was identified as Julie Kimmel, 29, of New Harmony. Kimmel’s 10-year-old son was a passenger in the vehicle. Further investigation revealed Kimmel had a blood alcohol content of .13%. She was arrested for driving while intoxicated and taken to the Posey County Jail. Kimmel’s son was released to a relative.
