Several MCJHS 8th grade students competed in the IJAS Science Fair at SIU Carbondale on March 6th. All groups participating received the highest ranking or Gold award from the judges. Unfortunately, we did not have anyone qualify for the State competition, but there were some monetary award winners, Elizabeth Kaisinger and Ashlyn Peach won $50.00 from the Office of Associate Chancellor of Institutional Diversity. Ivan Holt won $100 for overall excellence from the School of Medicine. Pictured are all students participating.
