State Farm Corporate has approved a donation to the Wabash County Sheriff’s office that will be used for impaired driving education materials. Sheriff Derek Morgan submitted a proposal and the money will be used in part to buy “drunk goggles” and a small pedal car designed for this purpose. It would be used on an obstacle course at the high school and other venues.
The specific program that this $5,000 will be used to purchase is the “Fatal Vision Roadster” program.
WSJD’s Rodger Beard spoke with Sheriff Derek Morgan and State Farm agents Kenny Saxe and Dan Schonert about the donation.
