The Wabash County Assessor’s office has been busy at the start of the year. Debbie Gittings told the County Board Tuesday that her office has mailed out the yearly exemption renewals. They don’t have to be completed until May 1st. And for those who turned 65 in 2017 they are eligible to receive an “over 65 exemption.” You can call the assessor’s office or come in to sign up for the exemption.
