State Fire Marshal, Local Partners Seek Public Help Following Hazelton House Fire

Investigators with the Indiana State Fire Marshal are seeking the public’s help with the investigation of a fire in Hazleton.  Multiple fire departments responded to 112 E First Street in Hazleton, IN in the early morning hours on Sunday, January 7, 2018, where firefighters found the house fully engulfed in flames when they arrived.  The house was vacant at the time of the fire. 

The Indiana State Fire Marshal and investigators are asking anyone with information about the fire to call the Indiana Arson Hotline at 1-800-382-4628.  A reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest is being offered. 

The State Fire Marshal oversees the Division of Fire and Building Safety within the Indiana Department of Homeland Security.
