The Mt. Carmel City Council has taken two bids to mow the city’s cemeteries under advisement. The low bid was submitted by Greg Locke of GL Services in the amount of $22,000. The other bid was from Art Kimmell and Clean Cut Lawn Care for $22,222. The contract will be for two years and city clerk Rudy Witsman said a decision on the bid will be made at the next council meeting on the 18th.
