Bellmont Man Busted For Needles

On 12/27/17 at 20:57 hrs. the Wabash County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop at E 270 Rd. and Highway 1 south for a traffic violation. MCPD K9 Ace and Officer Hopper were requested for a free air narcotics sniff on the vehicle and gave a positive alert.  Subsequently 30 year old Tyler K. Rayborn of Bellmont was taken into custody for possession of Hypodermic Needles.  Rayborn was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he later posted a $150 cash bond.

Sheriff Derek Morgan: "Methamphetamine remains an issue for Wabash County. As previously reported the Wabash County Sheriff's Office is stepping up traffic enforcement as one avenue to combat the County's methamphetamine problem."
