On 12/08/17 at 2:59pm Mt. Carmel Police arrested 24 year old Mt. Carmel resident Cory J. Walker following a traffic stop in the 500 block of W 2nd Street. The arresting officer observed Walker operating a white Ford and knew Walker had a suspended driver’s license out of Illinois. Walker was stopped and placed under arrest. Walker was also found to have a Richland County Warrant for Failure to Appear as well. Walker was transported to the Wabash County Jail where he was issued the warrant with a $375 cash bond and also a citation for Driving While License Suspended with had a $150 cash bond. Walker is being held in the Wabash County Jail pending the posting of bond.
