From Coach Matt McCarty: 🏃♀️🏃♂️ Allendale Junior High XC Meet
The Junior High Aces competed Tuesday night at the Allendale XC Meet on a 1.8-mile course, with several outstanding performances.
Girls: 43 runners competed, with 7th grader and Jr. Lady Ace Chloe Alka taking home the individual championship, finishing 1st with a time of 12:46. Fellow 7th grader Emry Wilcox also earned a top-5 finish, placing 3rd in 13:24.
Boys: 44 runners competed, with 8th grader Cade Wilcox leading the way by winning the boys race with a time of 11:57. The Aces also had two more top-5 finishers: 6th grader Stryker Pearson, who placed 3rd in 12:44, and 5th grader Tysen Gourley, who finished 4th in 12:49.
🏆 Two individual champions and four top-5 finishes—great night for the Junior High Aces!
