The Mt. Carmel Lady Aces track team participated in the Little Illini Conference track meet on Wednesday. The Lady Aces came away with three individual silver medals.
Zoie Randall placed second in high jump with a career best jump of 5 feet one inch. Hazel Earnest earned her second place medal with a career best time of 16.49 seconds in the 100 meters high hurdles. Leah Lewis finished second in the discus with a throw of 104 feet 9 inches.
As a team the Lady Aces finished 7th in a very competitive field. Also scoring for the Lady Aces were Hazel Earnest, fourth in the 300 meter low hurdles (51.92) and the 4x100 relay team of Ella Turner, Kate Andrews, Mercedes Dillard and Hazel Earnest who finished 6th with a season best time of 56.53 seconds.
