The Lady Aces track season came to a close Friday with three Lady Aces competing at the ISHA Class 2A State Championship held on the campus of Eastern Illinois University in Charleston.
Competing for the Lady Aces were juniors, Hazel Earnest and Leah Lewis and Sophmore, Zoie Randall. All three had qualified for the state meet by meeting the qualifying standards at the Mattoon Sectional.
Earnest ran the 300 meter low hurdles, finishing 35th with a time of 50.47. Lewis finished 19th in the discus with a throw of 31.89 meters (104’7”). Randall competed in the high jump, jumping 1.50 meters (4’11”) which tied her for 14th place.
