From Coach Tyler Browning: Golden Aces (17-8 overall) get a nice home W tonight on senior night, beating Edwards County by the score of 7-4. It was a hard fought game on both sides, and we got the big hits late when we needed it!
We tallied 10 total hits in the game, but the big day belonged to Coston, going 3-4 at the plate with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Big triple in the 6th inning by Coston scored 2 runs to give us the lead for good. Bowser also had a multi-hit game going 2-4 with 2 RBI.
Bowser started the game on the mound and worked 4.2 innings, striking out 4 batters. The best story of the night then belonged to Wes Stoll, making his first varsity appearance of his career on the mound, going the final 2.1 innings with zero runs allowed and earned the W. That’s a great TEAM win!
Back in action at home today against Gibson Southern for our 5th game of the week. First pitch is at 5:00 p.m. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the 2026 seniors!
