Wednesday, the Mt. Carmel Lady Aces Track Team traveled to Carmi to participate in the Carmi-White County Invitational. Zoie Randall and Hazel Earnest came away with medals in the event. Randall with a jump of 5’0” placed second in the high jump and Hazel Earnest with a time of 17.90 seconds placed second in the 100 meters high hurdles.
As a team the Lady Aces placed 7th in the 17 team field. Also scoring for the Lady Aces were:
100 meter dash - Hazel Earnest 6th (13.89)
400 meter dash - Macey Glenn 6th (1:10.61)
800 meter run - Zoie Randall 5th (2:46.81)
300 meter low hurdles - Hazel Earnest 6th ( 54.36)
Discus - Ellie Couch 4th (87’10”).
