The Lady Aces traveled to Wayne City and took the Lady Indians 3 sets. The Aces won big the first set 25-13, but I was worried about the big win margin biting us back the next two sets. It was too easy. The Indians fought back hard and had an attacker that was hitting all the holes. The Aces played clean but the Indians edged the Aces out 23-25, 21-25.
Stat totals Lyla Keepes 6 kills, 7 digs, 1 block, 1 assist, Avery Coston 9 kills, 6 digs, 2 blocks, Kyleigh Smith 3 digs, 6 kills, Mylee Farmer 15 digs, 1 assist; Quincy Keepes 2 aces, 6 digs, 1 kill, 10 assists, Cate Pyatt 4 kills, 1 dig, 2 blocks, 2 assists, Gabby Schneider 1 ace, 7 digs, 12 assists, Leah Lewis 2 kills, 1 digs, 2 blocks, Leila Sweeney 8 digs, Mercedes Dillard 6 aces, 5 digs, Presley Stevens 2 blocks, 1 kill.
The JV match went well for the Aces. The Indians jumped ahead first, but the Aces were moving well, and playing great defense. They had a strong serve and pass game as well. This led to the Aces winning in two sets 26-24, 25-18 Harper Warnken hustled her way to a double double with 11 digs, and 14 assist.
Stats Caroline Blake 2 aces, 6 digs, 5 kills, Quinn Rooney 1 ace, 3 digs, 1 kill, Mia Dickerson 1 ace, 1 dig, 2 blocks, 4 kills, Josie James 3 digs, 2 kill, 1 block, Kennedy Krajac 1 dig, Ryleigh Gill 3 aces, 10 digs, 3 assists, Harper Warnken 1 ace, 11 digs, 2 kills, 14 assists, Haleigh Prosise 1 assist, Macy Glenn 1 dig, Destiny Dongu 4 kills.
The Frosh Aces lost in 2 sets 16-25, 22-25.
