The Lady Aces hosted Oblong Monday night. The home team had a good crowd with lots of students out for the girls. They were able to keep a steady pace staying ahead and taking the match in 2 sets 25-19, 25-18

The JV team seemed to have some nerves going with playing at home for the first time.
Oblong sent over many free balls, but we had a high attacking error rate, and couldn’t handle Oblongs aggressive serving. The aces were able to win the second set, but fell in the third with set scores of 21-25, 25-18, 7-15.

Saturday the Varsity team will head to Olney for all day tournament play. They will start out the day at 10:00 facing St. Anthony. They will hit the road for the next few games after the tournament, and return to the hilltop on September 15th against Cisne.
