Chase Price drove in the go ahead run scoring Bryden Tougaw in the top of the 7th to give the Jr. Aces the lead. That they would never relinquish.
The Jr. Aces collected 10 hits in the game. Aran Guanipa and Bryden Tougaw led the way with two hits. Tate Buss, Brantley Krup, Wade Duckworth, Ridge Keepes, Chase Price, and Landon Zuber added one hit each in the contest.
Tate Buss took the mound first for the Aces. He allowed four hits and two earned runs in four innings of work, striking out two. Landon Zuber pitched one inning allowing zero earned runs. Aran Guanipa threw two innings of shut out ball in relief. He allowed only one hit, striking out two and walking none.
Next up the Jr. Aces start regional play as the number #1 seed. They will travel to Flora to take on #4 Carmi on Thursday September 25th at 3:00 p.m.
