Golden Aces (16-9 overall) find a way to win a regional game against Fairfield by the score of 3-2!! Thank you to everyone to packed the field to support these boys in a great baseball game!
Banks was our rock on the mound, pitching a complete game in just 74 pitches. Allowed 0 earned runs and most importantly didn’t walk a single batter. What a performance by the senior!
Coston with the big 2-run HR in the first inning to set the pace for the Aces. We struggled as an offense, but back to back hits by Sloss and Banks in the bottom of the 6th propelled the Aces to the lead, and Banks finished it off on the mound. Several good plays by our defense backed our pitcher and great team effort as always!
We advance to play Johnston City in the regional seminal on Wednesday at 4:30 pm. The game will be played in Fairfield. Keep showing up Aces fans we need you!!
